Good morning geekies and welcome to your Thursday. Yesterday was exciting as we got to see our first trailer for the remake of Stephen King’s fright fest, Pet Sematary, which originally scared the shit out of us back in 1989. The trailer looks fun, and similar to this Summer’s blockbuster IT, I think we’re going to see some creative licenses taken with the timing, setting and even storyline. As a King purest that kind of irks...

As the credits rolled, and then stopped for a Marvel-esque teaser, and then continued, I sat on my couch scratching my head. What had just happened in the last fifty minutes on my television. Did I get the satisfaction I needed to close this book? Well before I go on, let me just warn you: SPOILERS AHEAD Okay, now that’s out of the way. Castle Rock is an anthology series, akin to American Horror Story. That...

Screw the narrative, just dive right in. How. Cool. Was that? I love it when brands/companies make immersive experiences like this. Similar to what Disney did for The Force Awakens VR experience on the Samsung Gear our friends at Hulu threw us a creepy bone and created something similar for their new Stephen King series Castle Rock. I recommend watching this video on full screen, in the dark for the ultimate blood pressure raising experience....

Hulu became the latest location on Stephen King’s map of places where creepy shit happens tonight as the much anticipated Castle Rock series premiered on the streaming service. I’ve been a Stephen King fan since I was first able to read the words in his 1983 scare fest Pet Sematary. That book still to this day creeps me the hell out (and I can’t wait to see what they do with the upcoming movie –...

Stephen King fans were treated to an official trailer for Hulu’s original series Castle Rock. Brought to us by the master of horror himself Stephen King and friend J.J. Abrams (11.22.63) this series looks like it will not only play fan service through rich references and easter eggs, but also create it’s own drama/trauma through the lens of our newest residents. Castle Rock has long been a staple town in the Stephen King multiverse, first...

It’s an exciting time to be a Stephen King fan. First we get the epic reboot of IT last year. There are myriad adaptations coming to the small screen of his short and long stories, and now today, Deadline reports that Ewan McGregor is in talks to play a grown up Danny Torrance in The Shining sequel, Doctor Sleep directed by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game, Oculus, Absentia). Doctor Sleep, takes place approximately thirty years after...

Geeky a Go Go

Geeky a Go Go was the brain child of Anthony Pizzuto, and was really just a way for him to become a "micro influencer" and a way to boost his ego. It has since grown into a multi-headed alien from the Outer Rim - nowhere near as cool as The Nerdist, but pretty damn close.
