Variety is reporting some rumors today that they have an inside source on the whole James Gunn issue. Acourding to this source, it’s looking pretty good that James Gunn will be rehired for GOTG Vol3. From Variety: Sources say there has been a growing feeling that Gunn could be reinstated, especially because Marvel and Disney have been unusually radio-silent on who could replace him since the firing. Production is slated to start at the top...

Check out the new Venom trailer below. We’re treated to much more footage of everyone’s most beloved symbiote. Watching this trailer I can’t help but feel a little too much was borrowed from the character of Carnage (blade arms?). We can’t help but miss the white spider that is traditional logo of the Venom character. However this trailer does treat us to more exposition and a little more of the plot. Let us know what...

The Hollywood Reporter shared the news that a prequel to the Sandlot is in early development at 20th Century Fox. The nostalgia strumming film tells the story of a group of young kids who form a bond over the course of a summer playing ball, culminating into a crazy adventure to save a Babe Ruth signed ball that lands in the backyard of a cranky neighbor with a beast that eats kids (spoiler alert, it’s just...

Let me begin with: if you haven’t seen Rogue One, there’s going to be spoilers below. So stop reading, watch the movie, then come back. Okay are you done? Okay let’s go. I’m a huge fan of Rogue One. In fact, it’s possibly my favorite Star Wars movie. It’s the prequel to Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope, it has a fun Oceans 11 vibe, Vader kicks some sweet rebel ass at the end,...

Starwars.com announced the cast of 2019’s highly anticipated end to the Skywalker saga this evening and there weren’t many surprises… well, except for one. CARRIE FISHER WILL BE IN IT. Yes. You read that correctly. And since it’s such big news, I think it warrants even more emphasis… CARRIE FISHER WILL BE IN EPISODE IX. There. That worked. Yes, the usual suspects are in the film. Daisy Ridley (Rey), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), John Boyega...

Hulu became the latest location on Stephen King’s map of places where creepy shit happens tonight as the much anticipated Castle Rock series premiered on the streaming service. I’ve been a Stephen King fan since I was first able to read the words in his 1983 scare fest Pet Sematary. That book still to this day creeps me the hell out (and I can’t wait to see what they do with the upcoming movie –...

I was speaking with Steve Orlando about his then future run on Wonder Woman back on June 9th while doing a signing at Aw-Yeah Comics in Harrison, NY. After blurting out all my expectations for his run he assured he had fun playing with the characters. I came around the line a second time as the store began to clear out and touched more and Wonder Woman as a character and how much he enjoyed...

The world of Nerdom got one step closer to parity with Jockland as the topic of video gaming becoming an Olympic sport was discussed at the Esports Forum in Switzerland this past Friday. Former Boston Celtic and LA Laker small forward as well as esports franchise owner Rick Fox served as the the Forum host moderator and commented: “I am proud to have the opportunity to support the beginning of a discussion between the Olympic...

Earlier we posted about the fun costume Mark Hamill said he donned at SDCC to poke fun President Trump. Thanks to some cleaver sleuths on the Facebook group ‘SDCC Attendees’, we have learned in fact that it was NOT Mark Hamill in the Orange Vader costume. A few members were quick to point out that they actually sat next to this fine person when they removed the helmet and it was NOT, Mark Hamill.

Geeky a Go Go

Geeky a Go Go was the brain child of Anthony Pizzuto, and was really just a way for him to become a "micro influencer" and a way to boost his ego. It has since grown into a multi-headed alien from the Outer Rim - nowhere near as cool as The Nerdist, but pretty damn close.
