M. Night Shyamalan is back with his latest mind-bender, Trap. The trailer dropped last week and the film is expected to hit theaters on August 9, 2024.
According to the trailer, we’re to expect a “new experience in the world of M. Night Shyamalan” whatever that means.
Starring Josh Hartnet, Haley Mills and Saleka Shyamalan, the film is about a father (Hartnet) attending a pop concert with his teen daughter (Ariel Donoghue) where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.
In overly-expected Shyamalan fashion, the trailer is all sorts of misdirection for the ultimate finale I’m sure. To be honest, I’m pretty sure the daughter is the antagonist. Who wants to make a wager?
