The first Captain Marvel trailer hit the internet today and it is AWESOME!!
What we know so far is that the movie will take place in the ‘90’s and it looks like we are going to get a Skrull invasion. For those of you not familiar with the Skrulls, they are a race of shape shifting aliens that invade planets by blending in and taking over key roles in industry and government.
In the trailer we see Carol punching an old lady in the face on a bus. This either means that Carol really hates Coffin Dodgers, or she’s a Skrull in disguise.
She’s definitely a Skrull.
We also get some hints on how Carol got her powers in the first place. One scene shows her testing what looks to be an American built spaceship in Earth orbit. Then a scene after that shows her on the ground, in what looks like a crash, then an explosion of pretty magical light that encompasses her.
So does she get her powers in a “Green Lanter” style spaceship crash? Hard to say but her super-suit, looks pretty bad ass!
